Good-bye Princess...

I hadn't even gotten around to posting about her leaving our pack...Princess went back to her owner a couple weeks ago. We thought she would be back here in a few months, as it was pretty obvious her owner wouldn't be able to keep up with her for long. In hindsight, I should have fought harder to keep her here.

Princess escaped on the weekend, a young husky with too much energy will find a way to burn it off. Sometimes that has tragic consequences. Princess was run over while out running around and did not survive.

I'm so sorry, little one. You deserved better.

Godspeed, Princess.

She deserved better... and you gave it to her the best you could. It's not your fault her owner is a jerk who insisted on taking her back.

You have such a big heart, we know this is hard on you, but you are one of the best dogmoms out there. You gave her a great deal of happiness. as long as you were able to.

sad sad woos,

Such a shame. She was so happy there with your pack. I wish her owner weren't so irresponsible. Rest in peace, Princess.

Take Comfort in knowing that You,
Stuart, and Tehya did everything in
your power to to give the Princess
a most Loving and Stable permanent home.
It's not your fault that the offer was
declined ... and a very unhappy
result has been the result.

Please be sure to include some
extra tears in her Stone Mix - from me.

/s/ A very sad Phred

You know ,TamaraLyn, that when I went to ministry school we did a child's funeral, talked about God taking his best angels home soon after placing them here....I have to believe that the same applies to animals and Princess can now run free and will no doubt be there to greet Chum when the time comes. Love and hugs to all, Mom

We is so sad about Princess. Woo did da best woo could fur her. She jest had a selfish owner who didn't know when to give it up.

At least she had sum happy time when she was wid woo.
Princess will dance among the stars without a chain to bind her. May she stop by to give you woo a whisper of a snooter smooch so woo knows efurrything is okay wid her and she is grateful dat she got to stay wid woo.

Sad woos and husky kisses,
Biloxi

Oh, my heart goes out to you. How tragic to lose a pup, and such a beautiful one at that. Thank you for the care you gave her.
