More Goodbyes..

Mac & Ozzy

June 30, 2003 - February 26, 2011

Every choice I ever made for you, including the last one, was made out of love.

I'm sorry, my boys. I hope you are together, happy and free from your demons now.

This news gave me goosebumps.

So sorry for your loss. My heart aches for you. I will hold my furkids a little closer today and be thankful for the reminder to love them while I can.

Run free Mac and Ozzy. Run free.

Dad says when you think about what could have happened, you made the only decision possible. We know how you love your critters, they are your family. You are not alone and neither are they. Things will get better with the healing of time. Hugs coming your way.

I know your mind must be reeling and heart shattered. I can't imagine being in this position, but you made the right decision. I'm just so sorry it was one you had to make.

Sorry to hear of your loss and the choices you had to make, but as always those choices are out of love and sometimes that's what hurts the most.

Paw Prayers for you and your family.

Oh goodness! Khyra sent us over. You have had such losses in such a short time. We are sending you many healing purrs.

Run free, Mac & Ozzie. You did what had to be done with loving compassion, not that it lessens the pain of your losses. I hope in the coming days, good memories of the boys comfort your aching heart.

I'm following your wonderful blog for some 2 years now, and I've got a pack of sleddogs (Border Huskies, like your Tehya) myself.
My heart goes out to you and the empty spaces those 2 souls have left. I don't know what ailed Mac and Ozzy, but I feel you made the right choice. Safe journey, Mac & Ozzy, run like the wind!
And to you, although we never met in person, a heartfelt doglover's hug from a still very icy German forest with a pack of lovely critters.
Loads of good wishes from
Johanna

I too have followed your crew for years now. I know you have always made the best of decisions with love and compassion. I don't know the circumstances either but I am positive you did the right thing. I think of you often even though we have never met and never even spoken in person. I often think if it hadn't been for your stories and your advice to me with Sequoia we wouldn't have had as many wonderful years as we have had so far with her. Thank you for all you have done and will continue to do.
