If you are lucky enough to find a way of life you love, you must find the courage to live it. --John Irving
My parents have a well and love it. It sure tastes better than city water. So the next time the dogs drink out of the toilet, they'll probably want thank ya, with a big sloppy kiss of course.sean
That just LOOKS Noisy!!! Does it scare the woofies?
Hey, good luck!! Who's doing it for you? And how far down do you figure it'll go? Curious because I may be looking into this in the future...I've heard some people drilling around here and holy crap, you're right - it IS noisy!!!
Stacie: Brian MacDougall is drilling it for us. He just bought a drilling company. Kinda nice as at least he likes the dogs and he understands CLOSE THE GATES!! We were thinking we'd hit at about 80 feet, but it's not looking good. Brian is at 60 feet and still hasn't hit bedrock, nothing but pea gravel so far! I think we can go to about 200 feet before the bill will be too big! You might qualify for the YTG well loan program. We live 2km on the wrong side of the city limits for that!KP: The dogs are curious about it and the strange human in their yard, but not really scared. They were all napping in the dirt as they usually do all afternoon while he was drilling! They have tried to steal a few tools! Nothing is safe in this yard!
I thought it might be Brian! I heard he was doing that now. Hmm, hadn't heard of the well loan program. Thanks for the tip.Just noticed you're at 120ft - ack! Good luck. Here's hoping you hit it ASAP!!! Water, that is. Wait, oil would be good too! :-)
