Canine Concentration....

What could possibly be occupying all of their attention?
Bandit was so focused he didn't even want his dinner!
Heyoka had no such issue and forgot all about the imaginary squirrel when he saw the food bucket come out!
Mac did not believe me when I told him there was no squirrel in the tree!
Pingo, ever the smart little girl, figured out that by sitting on the picnic table, she didn't have to strain her neck!
Bandit tries some soft woos to get the squirrel to come play.
Anvik takes a different approach. In Anvik's world, louder is always better!
"Seriously, Mom, there was a squirrel!"
After a close inspection of every tree in the front yard, the dogs have given up on playing with a squirrel tonight. If there was a squirrel, the brave little guy has lived to harass the dogs another day! Not many squirrels make it out of this yard alive, actually not many even venture into this yard anymore!

I believe you, everybody, there must have been a squirrel in the tree! And you all tried to encourage him to come out of the tree, but he wouldn't. Just in case I have not already said so today -- you are all beautiful!

Your fan,
Elyse

Hey there Tamara, wondering if you would have any interest in giving me a few "lessons" on how to start my 2 Huskies out. I've tried a few different things that have pretty much been a flop. Right now, I'm just having them pull me on my bike. No idea, how to teach them Gee, Haw & most importantly STOP! I've worn the nubbies off my tires bringing them to a halt. I'm not sure that I want to invest in an actual sled if I can't figure out how to train them. We don't have any where locally that offers any kind of mushing help. If not, no biggie, just thought I'de ask...here's my direct email if so:ushamae@aol.com

Hi Macie & Malechai's Mom....

I can certainly pass on some tips. I'll email you later today. Not so sure about "stop" though. That does usually require brakes and keeping them stopped requires ropes and anchors!

Squirrels are always important business. I'm not sure they are more important than food though.
