Look at the BabyDog go...

Tehya went for her very first run with the team tonight. Look at my little BabyDog go! She didn't have a clue what all the chaos was about when I got the ATV and harnesses out, but it took her a nanosecond to figure out the whole pulling thing! I need to do some work on the finer points, like staying on her side of the gangline and not snuggling up to Pacer, but the most important part is there--she pulled and she had fun doing it!

A tired puppy is a good puppy!

Thirsty little sled dog!

Pacer, my patient, calm, fabulous puppy training partner! Who would have ever thought that he would go from scared of his own shadow and untouchable to teaching a puppy how to be a sled dog!?

There was no getting out of the yard without Hobo. He may be 10 years old, but he is still the Psycho Puppy and he was one happy dog when he saw his harness!

And my precious Paxil who has made it clear that she is in no way ready to retire yet! She was flawless tonight, a feat made more impressive by the fact that she's spent the last five months napping beside the woodstove, doing nothing more strenuous than chewing a rawhide!

Sounds like you had as much fun as we did on the first run!

Go Tehya!

And I think Paxil has been planning this all along, take it easy, and rest up in the summer... all that energy has been very wisely conserved!

Oh GOODIE!

Another Milestone passed by the Lil Sled Dawg (in the making).

Now when do we get to see the SNOW again?
Snow and a quiet Sled must be more relaxing than draggin Mom around on that *noisy* 4-Wheeler.

Rock On, Tehya ... you're doing just GREAT!

Altho some may want to see snow...please let it wait until I come next week and return home the following week! Look forward to meeting in person those grandpuppies that are new to the fold and know I will be sharing my bed with a cat or two! Glad everyone is getting ready to run again. See you Wed. Love ya, Mom

Go Tehya! Pacer looks very content, and quite dashing in his yellow harness. Paxil, what a wise girl you are...you know when to relax and when to work! Good to see Hobo, haven't seen him for a while. I do love your little Psycho Puppy! Our pack is looking forward to seeing many more pics of your sledding adventures.

Wooos,
Star & the Jack-a-roo

OMG!

Roll out the Sweeper and the Duster ... GranMaw's comin to towne!
Wash those windows, wash those dishes ... oh heck - Wash Everything!

Nothing spreads panic in a comfortable house quicker than the announcement that one's MOTHER is due to arrive for a visit / inspection. *EEK*

The Mom-Spector never "says" anything ... but if you follow her EYES ... nothing goes un-noticed.

Welcome to the Husky Ranch, "Mom"!

Message to Phred...the mom-spector has a passion about windows so daughter just leaves them for me as all those grandpups and grandkitties tend to leave nose prints all over the place!!! I do love your sense of humor and glad to know that some people still think a visit from Maw can set off a fear factor.......

MY Mom had a passion about "Cleanliness" in general ...
Mom-Spector "visits" were reason to both panic AND Clean Like Crazy prior to her arrival!

I dodged the bullet a few times with the ploy I didn't want her to have to "drive so far" (all of 2 hours) - so I'd just come visit HER and save her the trip.

Happie Window Warshin, "Mom"!

I am just finding your blog, and love it. Live in the USA in Virginia, and have 6 Siberians and do Siberian Husky rescue! Right now there is a beautiful RED husky girl here I am fostering.

Thanks for sharing, and most of all thanks for helping all the "lost" huskies...

I would love to show my huskies to the readers and Tamara.
