Glacier and Pete having a snuggle--that's what they do!
The cats are very happy that it's woodstove season again!
Paxil's concrete dog bowl sits by the stove and holds heat nicely. It's also a perfect fit for Ivy. Matches her fur nicely too!
Glacier might be a getting a bit too close. Singed cat fur smells nasty!

Back in the olden daze when we burned the fireplace; First Shepherd Casey and First Kat Fred would curl up SOOO close to the fire that you could see the heat waves *shimmering* off their black fur!
They'd both get so hot that they'd begin to pant! Finally they'd go get a drink, then return to their exact same spots, and lie down with
their "other sides" turned to bake from the fire.
I just *shook* my head.
They are beutiful cats. We also have three cats.
