What to do in the cold...

It's been too cold to get out on the sled. Little mistakes cause big problems in extreme weather. So what do sled dogs do when they can't sled...

Hang out on the couch of course.

Avoid eye contact with the humans. They can't make you go outside if you ignore them!

Puppy Brain apparently provides protection from the cold. Tehya may be 17 months old now, but she is all puppy! Mac is four, but he had a lousy puppyhood the first time around so he still likes to indulge in a little puppy behavior now and again.

-40 is no reason to miss a good play session!

We like cold here, but couch snoozing is much more fun!

Tehya is soooo adorable!

Mac, I think it is dear that you engage in a little play every now and then, since your childhood was not so wonderful. And you and all your Wandering Spirits dog-siblings are beautiful! I hope the weather warms up for you, so that you can go sledding again soon.

Rumor hazzit that the Yukon experienced a "warming trend" = the temp rose to a balmy (*minus*) -25C --- So Musher Mom picked a few lucky pups and went for a SLED Ride!

Happie Tymes return to Husky Camp!

Hope everyone had a nice ride!
